The TNC series is an easy-to-use bench digital cap torque tester for quickly measuring opening and closing torque values up to 20 N·m on a wide range of samples with diameters from 19.5 to 190 mm. It is used in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, in industrial quality control and in research and development.
Seven measuring modes (Track, Preset, Peak, First Peak, Auto Peak, Auto First Peak, Double Peak) with programmable tolerance thresholds for pass/fail testing in all modes. Reversible backlit LCD display with analogue bar graph and pass/fail icons. Each tester includes USB and RS-232 outputs and software for uploading and statistically analysing the data. Rechargeable Ni-MH battery (~25 hours) or AC power supply, lightweight aluminium housing, weight 2.5 kg.

Features

The adjustable clamps with removable clamping pins and the adjustment knob allow the tester to be quickly adapted to samples with a diameter between 19.5 and 190 mm. The analogue bar graph on the backlit display shows the torque relative to full scale and the direction of the force, with real-time pass/fail feedback.
