The DL6 series is an advanced family of modular LED illuminators designed for high-precision industrial vision. The 50×50 mm LED tile construction allows sizes to be scaled perfectly; the MCCD (Multi Constant Current Driver) guarantees a uniform current distribution across the whole array, regardless of voltage variations.
The anodized aluminum frame with side slots combines structural rigidity with ease of mounting; HTTM© technology optimizes thermal management, while the scratch-resistant protective glass and the reverse-polarity protection ensure its reliability. Support for continuous, ON/OFF and high-speed PWM modes makes the series ideal for synchronization with fast vision tasks. The DL6 can be used for direct lighting, low-cost backlighting and grazing (low-angle) light.

Typical applications
Applications built and documented with DL6 series LED matrix illuminators:

LED illuminators for robot guidance
In robotic cells and automated assembly, LED panels provide diffuse, uniform lighting that allows the camera to locate, orient and inspect components with precision and repeatability.

Vision systems for in-line quality control
Machine vision systems for in-line quality control combine cameras with dedicated LED illuminators: wide, uniform lighting guarantees sharp, repeatable images for automatic defect detection.

Special lighting for in-line vision
Special lighting systems for industrial vision on the production line: LED panels with direct, grazing or backlighting to enhance the contrast, surfaces and details of the objects being inspected.
