The BT2-DL from Dakota NDT is the top-of-the-range ultrasonic bolt tension monitor: more powerful and faster, it handles a wider range of lengths thanks to three measuring modes (Pulse-Echo, Echo-Echo, Echo-Echo-Verify) and expandable memory.
- Top-of-the-range bolt tension monitor : advanced functions and fast operation
- 3 measuring modes : Pulse-Echo, Echo-Echo, Echo-Echo-Verify
- Bolts up to 30.48 m : in Pulse-Echo mode
- 4 GB memory + 64 GB external : import/export with BT1-DL
- Outputs : analog, serial and alarm
- Li-Ion battery : ~18 h + AA backup
- Industries : aerospace, energy, infrastructure, railways
The BT2-DL measures bolt tension (elongation, load, stress, strain, time in ns) with three modes: Pulse-Echo for uncoated fasteners up to 30.48 m and Echo-Echo / Echo-Echo-Verify (triple echo) for small fasteners where coating thickness could affect the measurement (up to about 102 mm).
Auto-correlation assists transducer positioning and custom auto-calibration simplifies setup. It offers 4 GB of internal memory expandable up to 64 GB, analog, serial and alarm outputs, USB connectivity and the ability to import and export files with the BT1-DL.
