The FX81-DL from Dakota NDT is the top-of-the-range ultrasonic flaw detector with an advanced thickness gauge: a large sunlight-readable color display, a high-performance receiver (0–110 dB) and a complete set of sizing toolkits.
- Top-of-the-range flaw detector : + advanced thickness gauge
- Sizing toolkits : DAC, AWS, TCG, DGS
- 0–110 dB gain : manual and automatic (AGC)
- 1.8–19 MHz broadband : + selectable narrow bands
- 5.7” color display : sunlight-readable Blanview
- Thickness modes : P-E, PECT, PETP
- PRF 8 Hz–2 kHz : 60 Hz refresh
The FX81-DL is the flagship model of the Dakota flaw detector line: it combines flaw detection (DAC, AWS, TCG, DGS toolkits, Z-Cross/Flank/Peak detection, PRF 8 Hz–2 kHz) with a high-performance receiver offering 0–110 dB gain (0.2 dB resolution), selectable damping and a 1.8–19 MHz broadband with narrow bands.
The large 5.7” QVGA Blanview color display, readable even in sunlight, and the thickness measuring modes (Pulse-Echo, Pulse-Echo Coating, temperature compensation) make it suitable for the most demanding inspections. High horizontal (±0.4% FSW) and vertical (±1% FSH) linearity.
